Hongfa 2×14000KW hydro-turbine generator set reached cooperation

On June 12, 2025, Nanning Industrial Investment Hongfa Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. and its Lao partners held a signing ceremony for the Laos Bata Hydropower Station Project at the Hongfa Hydropower Equipment Production Base.

This project will install two 14,000 kw hydropower generating units, marking another victory for Hongfa Heavy Industry in the Southeast Asian hydropower market. It further consolidates Hongfa's leading position in the manufacture of hydropower equipment and demonstrates the firm determination of China and Laos to deepen cooperation under the framework of the "Belt and Road" initiative.

This signing is not only another important achievement of Hongfa Heavy Industry's internationalization strategy, but also reflects the strength and responsibility of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry to "go global with technology".
